- Annual scientific meeting and steering committee of the GREASE network in partnership in Yogyakarta
The GREASE network in Partnership organised its annual scientific meeting and steering committee, hosted by the University Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Twenty-three speakers of different research centres or universities associated with the network scientific activities presented their results across Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, at a national or regional scale.
The variety of specialties illustrated the thematic breadth and the interdisciplinary needed to address health issues in an integrated approach (One Health/EcoHealth). Veterinary researchers, ecologist, public health and epidemiology specialist were giving the opportunity to share their achievements and projects conducted within the GREASE framework.
More than 43 attendees did participate in round tables to produce actionable recommendation for the evolution of the GREASE network organisation, governance and strategy.
Capitalising on the last evaluation of the network in April 2023, these round tables, animated using participative methods, allowed the network to support the evaluation document produced by the international experts.
Dr Lattifah Hassan, President of the Malaysian Onehealth Universty Network (MyOHUN) – one of the experts who took part to the evaluation – was invited to participate to these discussions and present the activity of MYOHUN.
During the steering committee, the core members of the network discussed of the evolution of GREASE governance scheme, as well as the new version Memorandum of Underestanding. They confirmed the future integration of Malaysia in the network via MyOHUN, expanding the geographic integration of the network in South-East Asia.
