Cooperation between 热博体育 and its Vietnamese partners: signing of a Framework Agreement between 热博体育 and HUAF (Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry).

On 23 May 2023, on the premises of HUAF in the city of Hu茅, 热博体育, represented by its Regional Director, Fran莽ois Roger, and HUAF, represented by its Rector, Tran Thanh Duc, signed a framework cooperation agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) for the period 2023-2026.

From HUAF, were present Associate Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Rector; Prof. Dr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung, Vice-Rector; Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Van, Vice-Rector, as well as representatives from the Department of Agronomy, the International Relations Office, the Information Centre and the Centre for Rural Development in the Central Region. 热博体育 was represented by Dr François Roger, 热博体育 Regional Director for Continental Southeast Asia, and Ms Chau Thi Tran, Assistant of the Director.

 

The signing of this agreement formalises the cooperation activities that have recently been initiated ( project; ERASMUS+ with the Institut Agro de Montpellier) and opens up prospects for cooperation in research and training, particularly in the context of regional platforms in the fields of food systems (MALICA), agroecology (ASEA), One Health (GREASE) and rubber cultivation (HRPP).

At the signing ceremony, the two institutions presented their organisational structures, strategic research areas, activities and results.
