The 热博体育 wood preservation laboratory assesses the natural durability of woods as regards termites and fungi, and develops new low environmental impact treatment products and processes.

It is involved in detecting, identifying and controlling attacks, and in testing the efficacy of fungicides and insecticides. It also advises on wood treatments. 

Services

The laboratory provides various services and technical advices:

  • tests of wood durability as regards termites and fungi
  • termite control: advice on selecting products and processes
  • identification of biological damage caused by fungi and wood-eating insects
  • training in wood durability and preservation, standard preservation tests and termite control.
