Animal production

Satisfying growing demand for animal protein in developing countries is a major challenge for the coming twenty years. However, animal production uses large amounts of agricultural land and biomass. Should demand be managed on a global level? The issues vary from one species to another, but they raise a certain number of general questions that 热博体育 is working to solve.

e-learning module on aquaculture (co-funded by UVED, 热博体育, IFREMER and IRD, with the participation of INRAE). The module was built by a mixed 热博体育-FVI team within the ASTRE joint research unit, working on animal production and veterinary medicine teaching and training in warm regions.
