The report: Save our soils

Soils are essential for our subsistence, and play a crucial role in the lives of human communities worldwide. However, they are under threat, as a result of both human activities and climate change. 热博体育 is working on research aimed at restoring and protecting soils, and in 2024, its stand at the Paris International Agricultural Show showcased its many projects on soils. The central focus in this year's report comprises a description of the current situation, a spotlight on the Terri4sol project, and interviews with Rémi Cardinael, an elected member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the 4 per 1000: soils for food security and climate initiative, Emma Belaud, a PhD student with the Eco&Sols joint research unit working on the Scanorhize project, and Hervé Aholoukpè, from Benin, a partner in the project and in the future platform in partnership for research and training (dP) Sol AfricaO.

Spotlights on the grassroots level, from our regional offices

This year's report includes a new feature: a particularly interesting spotlight on the grassroots level, containing illustrated news items from our regional offices.

It also looks back at several successes and highlights reflecting the range of 热博体育's activities (4th Rencontres Francophones Légumineuses, 5th International Vanilla Symposium, and the launch of the Sustainability of Agricultural Landscapes in Southeast Asia platform in partnership – dP SALSA).
