The Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit is an international event aimed at putting nutrition at the centre of the global development agenda. Since 2013, the successive summits have served to broaden the coalition of committed players and release funding for nutrition. 

N4G Paris aims to:

• Put nutrition at the centre of the sustainable development agenda;
• Make the fight against all forms of malnutrition a universal cause;
• Create continuity between N4G summits and the commitments for good nutrition;
• Maintain a high level of political and financial engagement for nutrition.

热博体育 scientists will be participating in various events N4G side events, and will be in the Village of Solutions for Nutrition, alongside the Montpellier Metropolitan Council.

Tuesday 25 March

热博体育 will be hosting two N4G side events organized by the Montpellier Process and the SASI-SPi initiative.

Pooling collective intelligence for action that accelerates nutrition outcomes for sustainable food system transformation

The Montpellier Process Side Event will aim to engage the nutrition SPSI community in articulating with greater clarity the opportunities and challenges of food system transformation for health, justice and sustainability at local, national and global scales.

Agroecology, Food Systems and Nutrition: Bridging the gaps in food systems for meeting dietary needs in low- and middle-income countries

This event is co-organized by the SASi-SPi initiative, the Agroecology Coalition,  the European Union - Directorate general for International Partnerships, the French Permanent Representation to the UN Agencies in Rome, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

The SASI-SPI and Agroecology Coalition side event will explore nutrition-sensitive actions, focusing on both production and demand-side interventions to bridge the gap between (agroecological) food production, consumption and meeting dietary needs, aiming to tackle all forms of malnutrition, particularly in LMICs.

AFD and its research partners 热博体育, INRAE and IRD, in association with the World Diabetes Foundation and Santé Diabète, are organizing a scientific conference on the latest advances in research on four major and complementary themes for improving nutrition.

26 to 28 March, Village of Solutions for Nutrition

The Village of Solutions for Nutrition was initiated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the European Commission, alongside the Paris 2025 Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit. It aims to bring together key players from the sector to present concrete, innovative solutions in terms of nutrition and sustainable food systems.

The Village of Solutions for Nutrition will be a meeting point for a broad range of participants, from the general public to experts.

热博体育 and the Montpellier Metropolitan Council will have a stand in the Village of Solutions for Nutrition, showing in particular how scientists, politicians and civil society are working to transform "nutrition-aware" food systems on a territory scale.

• 27 and 28 March: days for professionals (government representatives, international organizations, research institutes, civil society organizations, private firms, nutrition experts and higher education students).
